This Interim Standard specifies high density polyethylene (PE-HD) pipes and fittings with nominal outside diameters of 32 mm to 315 mm, intended for domestic installation inside buildings for soil, waste and vent applications and for internal rainwater pipes. The pipes may be used for low and high temperature applications. Additional requirements for Australian/New Zealand conditions are included in an appendix. This Standard is reproduced from but not equivalent to ISO 8770:1991.
