Proposes a code of practice for use by book publishers when reporting the reasons why orders for books have not been filled. An abbreviated report code and the valid status codes are given for each category of outstanding orders report as well as additional information which needs to be supplied for particular reports.

This Standard specifies the information to be provided by library suppliers, booksellers, Australian and New Zealand publishers and agents of overseas publishers when preparing reports on outstanding orders.
