Safety requirements, dimensions, construction and finish for wooden and metal cupboards with an independently locked inner compartment in the lower left-hand corner for the storage of schedule 1 poisons and dangerous drugs. Two standard depths of 12 in or 8 in are specified and a width of 24 in has been included to meet the new building programme (12 in module) of the Department of Health and Social Security.
