AS 1594-1974 applies to hot-rolled unalloyed low carbon steel sheet and strip not exceeding 0.2S percent carbon, produced on a continuous mill and supplied as coils or cut lengths in thicknesses up to and including 8 mm and in widths up to and including 2000 mm.
