Prescribes requirements for safety, interchangeability and performance. Applies to lamps rated at between 15 and 1 500 W, voltage or voltage range 110-260 V, and nominal life of 1 000 h. Test methods are specified, and also the conditions of compliance to be applied to the test results, in order to assess whether a batch of lamps or a manufacturer's whole production is of acceptable quality. Based on IEC 64.
