This Standard sets out requirements for the construction and installation of temporary fencing and temporary hoardings.Temporary fencing and temporary hoardings are used - (a) to provide a visual barrier;(b) to restrict access to unauthorized persons to worksites, events and restricted areas;(c) to contain equipment and materials;(d) to prevent operations within the area from impacting outside; and (e) to prevent materials, rubbish and debris from escaping from the worksite.NOTE: This Standard addresses all site-specific requirements (i.e., uneven ground, sloping sites, etc.)
