Defines a high-speed shared medium access protocol for use over a dual counter-flowing, unidirectional bus subnetwork. The Standard specifies the physical layer and the DQDB layer required to support LLC sublayer by a MAC sublayer service. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from IEEE 802.6-1990.
