Applies to moulded endless narrow V-belts of rubber or rubber-like compounds and textile materials; and V-grooved pulleys for narrow V-belts. An appendix includes recommendations for power appliction of narrow V-belts. It does not apply to automotive V-belt drives or to variable speed drives employing pulleys with movable flanges, nor to the drives specified in AS B241 and AS B242.
