Specifies the performance, and requirements for supply of paints for road marking and similar applications, for use without undercoat on surfaces of premixed bituminous materials, sprayed bitumen, and/or portland cement concrete. Provision is made for three types (plain, plain suitable for drop-on bead application, and retroreflective (beads in paint)) and for three application classes (spraying, brushing and roller coating). Performance requirements include no-pick-up time, bleeding, night visibility, durability (resistance to abrasion and chipping, appearance, colour and gloss retention) and bead retention.
