Details a test to determine the suitability of equipment to be installed in aircraft that will be exposed to a humid environment typical of the tropically wet area of the world. Subjects equipment in its idle state to cyclically varying temperatures ranging from 35 plus or minus 1 Degrees C to 20 plus or minus 5 Degrees C whilst maintaining relative humidity at not less than 95% throughout the test. Each cycle shall last 24 h, comprising of the attainment and maintenance of the upper temperature for 12 h and the lower temperature for not less than 5 h and be repeated for 28 days or for longer period as may be stated in the relevant equipment specification.
