This section of BS6920 specifies a method for assessing the ability of a product to promote the multiplication of aerobic aquatic microorganisms in water intended for human consumption. The method is applicable to all types of non-metallic product used in contact with water intended for human consumption.
NOTE Under the relevant National Regulations [3] to [9], the National Regulator may specify additional provisions in some cases and will assess the significance of the results obtained.
