La presente norma si applica ai cavi rigidi e flessibili per installazioni fisse aventi una tensione nominale 0,6/1 kV oppure 1,9/3,3 kV. Si tratta di cavi con speciali caratteristiche di comportamento al fuoco destinati ad essere utilizzati nelle centrali e nelle sottostazioni per la produzione di energia elettrica.
