Italian version of the European Standard CENELEC EN 60095-1 (1993), based on the IEC Publication 95-1 (1988) plus its Corrigendum (April 1990), with the original text in the English version opposite the Italian text, the Standard applies to lead-acid accumulator batteries with a nominal voltage of 12 V used mainly as a current source for starting internal combustion engines, for lighting and auxiliary equipment for vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. It aims to specify:- the general requirements;- the essential functional characteristics, the related test methods and the required results, for the different categories of starter batteries.
