Il Cap. 1 tratta le caratteristiche richieste per aste isolanti munite di attacchi fissi e le prove, il Cap. 2 tratta le caratteristiche degli attrezzi che possono essere applicati e rimossi ed infine il Cap. 3 tratta le clausole speciali riguardanti le aste isolanti e gli attrezzi adattabili per lavori sotto tensione.
