This Variant updates several articles to take into account technological progress, particularly as a result of electronic ACPs, and introduces new Annexes that provide examples of control circuit configurations and address: coordination under short-circuit conditions between an ACP and another short-circuit protection device; the specific test sequence for ACPs suitable for service in IT systems; and the additional functions of electronic overload relays or releases.
