FASC 7227 E La presente norma fornisce le specifiche dettagliate di montaggio di connettori per circuiti stampati. Vengono in particolare trattati i connettori Backplane per apparati Infini-Band. Sono indicati i metodi di montaggio raccomandati: contatti con terminazioni press-in o a montaggio superficiale. Il connettore viene descritto con le caratteristiche dei contatti. Nella norma sono riportati i dati dimensionali, la disposizione geometrica e i dati di accoppiamento. Sono inoltre presenti tutte i dati caratteristici del connettore: climatici, elettrici, meccanici, High speed. Infine sono definite le prove e per tipo di prove la loro sequenza, con la relativa severità e le grandezze da misurare. Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese, a causa della limitata utilizzazione, particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici. La presente Norma recepisce il testo originale inglese della Pubblicazione IEC e pertanto consta delle sole pagine dispari.
