This standard applies to spring-type connections made with stripped wires without further preparation in the following cases:- solidconductors with a nominal diameter of 0.32 mm to 3.7 mm (cross-sectional area of 0.08 mm2 to 10 mm2);- stranded conductors with a cross-sectional area of 0.08 mm2 to 10 mm2;-flexible conductors with a cross-sectional area of 0.08 mm2 to 10mm2according to EN/IEC 60228 or IEC 60189-3 for use in electrical and electronic equipment andcomponents.
