This standard describes the CLSI antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) reference agar dilution method as well as the alternative broth microdilution method for Bacteroides spp. and Parabacteroides spp. organisms used to determine in vitro susceptibility to antimicrobial agents of bacteria that grow anaerobically.
