Preface This is the harmonized CSA and UL standard for Hand-held motor-operated electric tools — Safety — Part 2-17: Particular requirements for routers and trimmers . It is the third edition of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60745-2-17 and the third edition of UL 60745-2-17. This edition of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60745-2-17 supersedes the previous edition published in 2004. This standard is based on IEC 60745-2-17, third edition. This standard has been approved as a National Standard of Canada by the Standards Council of Canada. This standard has been approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as an American National Standard. Scope This clause of Part 1 is applicable, except as follows: Addition: This standard applies to routers and trimmers.
