This Standard is included in DIN Handbook 185. The specifications apply to rope pulleys with plain bearings in the region of the bottom blocks of cranes. Only specifies the main dimensions, which are required to achieve interchangeability of rope pulleys and plain bearings. These rope pulleys can also be used for other rope pulleys in rope drives, e.g. top pulleys or on lifting means other than bottom blocks.
