Specifies a method of determining the density of paints, varnishes and similar coating materials using a displacement technique in which a float (in the form of a ball or another rotationally symmetric body) is used. The method is suitable for low-viscosity and medium-viscosity coating materials and related products, but not for highly viscous liquids. The method is recommended for production control purposes.
