This standard is included in DIN Handbook 118 and 118/1. Specifies a method for classifying paper and board ('paper', for short) according to its life span when stored for many years in rooms that are not air-conditioned. It is applicable for both coated and uncoated paper of grammage from 40 to 400 g/m2 and is intended to be used to classify paper products used for printing, office, data processing, writing, and drawing purposes.
