This standard is included in DIN Handbook 450/1, 450/2 and 450/3. Specifies a code of designation that applies to aluminium and aluminium alloys. Applies to wrought products and to ingots meant to be wrought. Coverage includes: rules for the code designation of wrought unalloyed aluminium; rules for the coded designation of wrought aluminium alloys; alloys produced from high purity aluminium.
