Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC 14496-6:2000, which specifies the delivery layer that allows applications to transparently access and view multimedia streams whether the source of the stream is located on an interactive remote end-system, the streams are available on broadcast media or they are on storage media. Copies of ISO/IEC 14496-6:2000 can be viewed at or purchased from Standards Australia or Standards New Zealand head office. Proposed as a joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
