Proposes the adoption of IEC 60825-4:1997 as a joint Australian/New Zealand Standard IEC 60825-4 specifies the requirements for laser guards, permanent and temporary, that enclose the process zone of a laser processing machine, and specifications for proprietary laser guards. Copies of IEC 60825-4 may be purchased from or viewed at Standards Australia office or Standards New Zealand offices.
