Proposes the adoption of IEC61009-1:2002 as a revision of AS/NZS61009.1:1999. Contains essential safety and associated requirements for residual current operated circuit-breakers with integral overcurrent protection for household and similar uses, for rated voltages not exceeding 440Va.c. and rated currents not exceeding 125A and short-circuit capacities not exceeding 25000A for operation of 50Hz or 60Hz. AnnexZZ lists variations for Australian and New Zealand conditions.
