Proposes requirements for fuse-switch-disconnectors and switch-disconnectors for use with low voltage aerial bundled cable systems in distribution circuits with related voltages not exceeding 1000 V a.c. and proposes alignment as close as possible to AS 4947.1. It supersedes AS 3650 and is based on IEC 947-1 and AS 4947.3. The latter supersedes AS 1775 and is based on IEC 947-3. This proposed Standard may require reference to IEC 947-1 and IEC 947-3 which may be purchased from or may be viewed at any Standards Australia office.
