Proposes a gravimetric method for the determination of gold content in gold and gold alloys containing more than 99.5% gold in the presence of less than 0.05% rhodium and less than 0.05% tungsten. It also contains an informative appendix containing the recommended methods for sampling fine gold bullion. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
