Proposes the adoption of IEC 1267:1994, which details a method for identifying the most important characteristics of diagnostic X-ray equipment and the relevant association test methods, so that characteristics can be stated in a standardized way to facilitate comparison between devices, as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
