Proposes guidelines on the safe use of mast climbing work platforms, in addition to the general requirements of AS 2550.1. It includes sections on planning; selection; siting; erection; mast extension and dismantling; operational criteria; and maintenance, inspection, repair and record requirements. The appendices provide details of a typical mast climbing work platform inspection and testing certificate and a typical logbook format.
