Proposes the adoption of ISO 7565:1993 which specifies methods and instruments for measuring the characteristics for readers specified in ISO 6198, Micrographics - Readers for transparent microforms - Performance characteristics (also a Combined Draft for Comment/Postal Ballot). It applies to magnification, resolution, distortion, screen luminance, screen contrast and film gate temperatures. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
