Proposes particular requirements for the safe design and manufacture of anaesthetic workstation and individual devices which are intended to be part of the workstation. A thorough working knowledge of its Parent Standard AS/NZS 3200.1.0, or a readily available copy, is necessary to deal with some of the technical issues raised. It is identical with and reproduced from IEC 60601-2-13:1998. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
