Proposes minimum performance requirements for earth-continuity monitoring devices intended to monitor the pilot-earth loop(s) in cables supplying power to equipment and the requirement to initiate tripping to prevent closure/interruption of the circuit device, and requirements for stop/start/pilot control functions in the earth-continuity monitoring device. Test methods are included. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
