Proposes the adoption of IEC 60947-5-4:1996, which specifies a method of assessing the performance of low-energy contact which gives general principles of testing, preferred test values, particular conditions of test, information on the contents of test reports and the interpretation and presentation of test results. A copy of IEC 60947-5-4:1996 can be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia office or Standards New Zealand. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
