Details the performance requirements, type and routine tests for generator voltage transformers used in conjunction with 500 or 660MW turbo generator sets of 23.5kV rated terminal voltage. The performance and testing requirements go beyond the current British Standard particularly with respect to the extended accuracy range and include type and routing partial discharge tests. To achieve maximum interchangeability, only one dual accuracy class/rating is specified.
