A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

The Guidelines provide a generic framework for managing risk in the health sector. They provide a reference point for boards of management, senior executives with clinical and corporate governance responsibilities, together with risk management and clinical staff. These guidelines are based on AS/NZS 4360:1999 Risk management.
