Applicable to capacitor units which are intended for connection in series with a transmission or distribution line or circuit forming part of an a.c. low or high voltage power system having a frequency up to 100 Hz. Also applicable to assemblies of such capacitor units with accessories forming complete series capacitor equipment. Please note - for internal fuses for series capacitors see IEC 595
