This Code of practice provides recommendations and guidance on meeting the requirements for the earthing of electrical installation for the purpose of: a) protective earthing that is equipment earthing of low voltage installation to IS 732 to limit the potential (with respect to the general mass of earth) of non-current carrying metal work associated with equipment, apparatus and appliance connected to the system.
