A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

ISO 2419:2002 specifies the preparation of leather test pieces for physical and mechanical testing together with two standard atmospheres for conditioning and testing.
It is applicable to all types of dry leather.
