This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the preformed cellular plastics thermal insulation boards and the preformed cellular plastics thermal insulation moulds used for thermal insulation materials. The term of preformed cellular plastics thermal insulation materials is a generic term including beads method polystyrene foam thermal insulation materials, extrusion method polystyrene foam thermal insulation materials, rigid urethane foam thermal insulation materials, polyethylene foam thermal insulation materials and phenol foam thermal insulation materials.
