This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies an atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of the arsenic content in iron and steel, which employs electrothermal atomization. The method is applicable to arsenic contents (mass fraction) in steel of 0.000 3 % or over up to and including 0.003 0 %.
