This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the physical and chemical tests for the raw rubber of synthetic rubber EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene type of synthetic rubber), and the standard compounding ingredients, the formulae and the mixing methods for evaluating the vulcanization characteristics. This Standard can apply also to the oil-extended types.
