This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the filter type powered air purifying respirators (hereafter referred to as \"papr\") to be used in the place where the inhalation of particular matter floating in the air (hereafter referred to as the \"dust\", etc.) and poisonous gas and steam (hereafter referred to as the \"poisonous gas\") in working place etc, is liable to affect the human body with hazardous influence.
