La présente Norme Européenne fixe trois méthodes d'essai visant à déterminer la vitesse d'infiltration de l'eau. La méthode A s'applique aux sols sportifs synthétiques en textiles, en gazon synthétique et en matériaux minéraux liés, la méthode B est applicable au gazon naturel et la méthode C est appropriée aux sols sportifs en matériaux minéraux non liés. NOTE: En ce qui concerne les sols en matériaux minéraux non liés, on considère que les essais en laboratoire donnent une indication plus précise du comportement du sol.
