Defines minimum performance criteria and test methods for reusable rigid plastics transport packaging (as specified in EN 13117-1). Special applications; heavy loads, high or low operating temperatures will require an agreement to be made between supplier and user to supply a box to satisfy their requirements. EXAMPLE: heavy loads; metal components; low temperatures below -20 degrees C; high temperatures above +30 degrees C.
