La présente Norme européenne prescrit les exigences relatives au controle et à l'entretien des robinets de bouteilles de GPL. Elle doit être appliquée lorsque le robinet est controlé, réparé ou rénové lors du controle périodique de la bouteille. Le controle périodique des bouteilles est décrit dans les normes EN 1440, EN 14795, EN 14914, et EN 14767. La présente Norme européenne peut également être appliquée à tout autre moment, par exemple lorsque l'entretien du robinet est nécessaire.
