La présente norme a pour but de définir les règles particulières pour assurer l'aptitude à l'emploi des blocs autonomes d'éclairage de sécurité pour bâtiments d'habitation (BAEH) destinés à assurer l'éclairage de sécurité dans les bâtiments d'habitation soumis à l'arrêté du 31 janvier 1996, plus particulièrement dans les circulations des bâtiments d'habitation autres que les immeubles de grande hauteur (IGH).
