Purpose of this agreement is to respond to the following interoperability requirements: - To provide common methods for exchange of Motion Imagery (MI) across systems within and among NATO Nations. - To give users a consolidated, clear, and concise view of the Standards they will need to build and operate Motion Imagery Systems; and - to provide governance so as to allow participating nations to share MI to meet intelligence, reconnaissance, surveillance and other operational objectives with interoperable MI systems.
