This document specifies guidelines for the qualification of the performance of a CT system with respect tovarious testing tasks.It applies to industrial imaging (i.e. non-medical applications) and provides a consistent set of definitionsof CT performance parameters, including the relationship between these performance parameters and CTsystem specifications.This document addresses computed tomography (originally named in the 1980ths computed axialtomography, CAT) and excludes other techniques of tomography such as translational tomography andtomosynthesis.
