The Directive applies to equipment for the manufacture of ceramic products such as: masonry, roofing and roof tiles; Clinker and floor clinker as well as other brick products (eg drainage pipes and cable duct hoods); ceramic tiles and slabs; Vitrified clay pipes and fittings; refractory bricks (eg of chamotte, quartzite, bauxite, magnesite, dolomite, chrome ore); Tableware, arts and decorative porcelain stoneware; Sanitary ware and pottery; technical ceramics, eg for mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering; ceramic bonded abrasive articles; Expanded clay.
